The first game: Gold Rush
Gold Rush is an Olympic hockey draft game. You draw a random historic team — any Olympic men's hockey squad from 1980 to 2026 across 26 nations — and draft 20 players into your lineup. Then you simulate a full Olympic tournament to find out if you have what it takes to win gold.
The game covers 110 real rosters with historically accurate players. The 2018 and 2022 tournaments are included with their actual non-NHL rosters. You can draft the 1980 Soviet Union, the 2002 Canadian powerhouse, Finland's 2022 gold medal team, or the 1980 USA Miracle on Ice squad.
